Even though I did not work a lot of events this week, I was able to work the first session of SLPDI and it was so much fun! The first session was called Leadership 101 and Sarah and I had the students discuss the qualities they believe leaders have and give examples of leaders.  This event made an impact on me because I was able to see students realize that there are so many different versions of a leader and that anyone can be a leader. I was again able to talk about my journey through student leadership and had many students come up to me after the session and ask how they can get involved. I felt I was able to impact students in this way.

 

I had a lot of exams this week in my classes and a paper due so I did not learn a lot of new material. I did learn in Business Law that due to the Eminent Domain clause in the fifth amendment the government cannot take your property without just compensation and it has to be for public use. So that was pretty interesting!
