Week Nine was especially busy and stressful with mid-term exams, but I was grateful to be able to participate with many events. My favorite event this week was the Mid-Term Stress Relief with Therapy Dogs. The pups were so cute and sweet and they really impacted me by helping me relieve some pent up stress! I also was able to assist with the Career Center Day on Friday. I felt like I was able to make an impact at this event because I was able to answer the high school students questions about the UCBA campus and about my experience here as a student. There were so many students and it was great to see their interest in our college!

This week in classes, I watched a documentary titled MISSrepresentation about how the lack of female role models in the media is harmfully impacting young women in the country. It really opened my eyes as to how much farther we as women have to come until we have total equality. It was very insightful and I would like to learn more about this topic.
