Week Fourteen
4/9/18-4/13/18
This week I was able to participate in the much anticipated Spring Fling. We had volleyball, inflatables, a DJ, and, most importantly, pizza. I had such a great time seeing everyone have fun and relax after what seems like a super stressful semester. I felt like I made an impact here because I was able to tell students what was happening. Many students were so surprised that the campus would put on this event for them, and they seemed excited that they could participate in it! This was definitely a great way to end our semester. I also completed my Ambassador Reflection in preparation for my exit interview with Sarah. This impacted me because I was able to reflect on my entire experience in student leadership. It helped me realize how much I’ve grown throughout my journey. It was bittersweet and I’m definitely sad to see it come to an end.
In my classes this week, I learned about U.S. trade patterns in macroeconomics. I find it so interesting how the government makes economic decisions. With only one week of classes left, I have a feeling I will be much more busy studying!
